Rose is an experienced professional with a knack for detail. She grew up splitting her time between the mountains of northern New Mexico and the plains of central Kansas. After high school, she moved on to study art, interior design, journalism, and social science before achieving her event planning certification.
Deeply involved in her community, Rose currently serves as the Event Coordinator for the MainStreet program in Los Alamos, NM. She is also the curator of the town's Creative District. Her imaginative personality shines through in both of these projects, and also makes her the perfect choice for you next event.
Rose attained her Event Planning Certification through the University of New Mexico’s Continuing Education Division. This program required 40 classroom hours, plus 260 online and industry work related hours, to receive certification.
Through the program she became proficient in many areas event planning, including budgeting, contracting and negotiations, “day-of” coordination, industry standards and trends, vendor and venue selection, the use of organizational software, successfully marketing an event, cultural considerations, and so on. Over the course of her studies she gained access to and the insight of several event management professionals, as well as other industry specialists, and built a robust network that's sure to benefit each client she works with.
